We are so delighted to be gathering together for the 10 year anniversary of the Understanding Risk Community! It has been quite the year, and we are highly grateful for the time and energy you have put into developing content, sharing information about the event, and showing up. You are UR. The Understanding Risk (UR) Global Forum is a pre-eminent conference that convenes experts and practitioners from all around the world to showcase the best practices in the creation, communication and use of disaster and climate risk information. UR events help facilitate silo-breaking partnerships and explore the newest innovations in the field. Please familiarize yourself with the platform. All the live action happens on the Agenda page. You can view sessions, speakers, and, importantly, add to your personal platform calendar. Share sessions with colleagues and friends too. Your Agenda should update based on your time, and you can browse sessions by subject. The other tabs are for you to explore before, during and after the Forum. UR 10 Year Anniversary

Our story started in 2010 with our first forum in Washington DC, the starting point of a fascinating journey that has taken us to subsequent gatherings in over 17 countries in 5 continents. Throughout our 10 years, we have built local communities, facilitated nontraditional partnerships, and supported innovations in disaster risk management. The #UR2020 Global Forum marks the 10th anniversary of the UR community, and we are celebrating its achievements and the advancements of the field during the past decade.
